Happy New Year 2009!

Had lunch with singyee,zhihui,chonglei,cuishan,jinyu and qianthing at PS LaoBeijing. It was a teatime buffet from 3-5pm and we met earlier to shop around. Received presents from all of them,ranging from cards,notebooks... well,thanks guys,i'm sorry i hadn't brought anything with me but don't worry you'll get your present soon,i promise. Just when the time turns 3,people swarm around at the entrance of LaoBeijing,all anxiously waiting to get into the restaurant. Luckily, we made reservation so we could get seated very soon. Since it was a BUFFET, there were alot of other people like us who were also desperately trying to get our share of food. Haha~so typical singaporean lah. I grew quite sick of the food after finishing my bowl of dandan noodles. Next,we continued window shopping and seeing it was really late.I left for my next destination--Albert Court Hotel.

It was a LMFC gathering to celebrate new year. Played Big 2,Heartattack and Bridge with part of the team. Dinner was wantan noodles at the hotel room. Part of the entertainment was to camwhore,play Bridge and stare at the Tv. I wasn't really watching the shows on the tv set, i was more of staring into the screen. It just goes in and came out. Had a chat with jill, she asked about my trip to China this year in late Feb. And shared with me her experience in China. It was fascinating to hear her little stories and i like the way she speaks chinese to me. Then we surprised Jasmine to celebrate her belated birthday. Before the countdown, everyone shared about our own new year resolution. I want to learn a new skill and language,like taking up driving lessons/picking up Japanese or maybe improving on my baking skills.
