Dinner with THEM at Renee's house. I met zixuan first before going to Renee's house. I've tried to guess who her mortal was but she not reveal who her mortal was. Dinner started at around 7.10pm with charlotte,sam,renee,nanda being the chefs of the day. It was sumptuous,delicious and satisfying. On the whole, i kinda liked dinner. Next,it was the reveal of our Angel & Mortal gift exchange. It turns out that The Face Shop was the top of the gifts we bought and I was really shocked that zixuan was my Angel. No wonder she refused to share with me who her mortal was. Anyway,thanks zixuan for the wonderful Xmas present. Then some of us played Bridge while watching The Little Nonya. I couldn't concentrate on the show because i had my eyes more focused on the cards. We continued with our game while we carried on watching Ghost Whisperer. Right after the show, most of us left home. It's certainly not easy to have the entire team meet up together and i really enjoyed the few hours we spent together.
Today.
I wasn't expecting that i would catch a movie today after i had decided to spend my time at home finishing my last bit of Twilight. I've been lagging behind cause i bought the book like 2 months ago and i still have not completed it. Anyway, I was reading the part towards the climax of the story when i received a msg from zixuan to watch Twilight. So, I met up with zixuan and steph at The Cathay to watch the 645pm show. Ate a Happy! Ricebox from Shilin for dinner, but it was purely meant to ease my hunger. We had popcorn and smuggled Chipster for snacks inside the cinema. But after rounds of popcorn & potato chips,we soon became full.

I think the movie was okay,it was not as exciting compared to the book. But,Kristen Stewart plays Bella really well, she's very pretty too!

I'm tired. Just came back from 3D2N floorball camp in NP. There were friendly match,bonding games and luckily,no floorball theory test. You must be thinking that i'm joking, but we have theory and practical test in NP! And i just knew it on Thursday's training. Craps...and the girls were(including me) doing our last minute revision on the 1st night of camp. Didn't slept well for the 2 days cause the floor was hard like solid metal and i missed my bed. Thank goodness we were released earlier. The thought of squeezing myself and all my barang-barang freaks me out. Imagine shoving yourself in a packed bus and hitting everyone you pass with your bags. I bet those passengers will stare at me and become super annoyed. Anyway,I was just too lazy & tired to wait for a bus so I cabbed back home. That's 1 smart choice i made. Yeap,now I need to chiong for X'mas gift exchange and presents. I got to CHOP-CHOP!!

Submitted my last individual assignment for year 2008. It was super taxing during the past 2 weeks cause i had overflowing assignments and so little time. I'm relieved but not yet the least very hyped up about the holidays. This week is almost entirely filled up by floorball trainings and a camp. I've got lmfc training on wednesday and school training cum a 3-day-2-nights camp from thursday to sunday. This means that i'm still very busy. I'm not sure if i can cope with the continuous trainings from wednesday to sunday. Well, and the next week will be Christmas. I haven't gone shopping for presents and it's definitely gonna be a last minute shopping dash. Right after the Christmas & New year holidays, we will be notified and briefed on the designated location we will be staying in China. I think it'll probably be on January, but details are not confirmed yet. Okay,i will update once everything's set and confirmed. Oh well,i shall cross my fingers and pray hard i get posted to Wuhan!

I'm bloody tired now. That's so much for chiong-ing my marketing essay at the very last hour. 1 more interpretation assignment and im off to take a break. I want a Happy Merry Christmas this year and i can't wait to meet up with THEM soon. Oh right, my cough have not recovered yet. I'm sick of waking up everyday to find myself with a dry and itchy throat. Argh...

There was a fund-raising flea market held at Simei Care Centre. Jinyu,qianthing & I were the only ones from our class who are helping out as volunteers in the afternoon shifts. Coincidentally, we sat on the same train to Simei. It was a 3 minutes walk to the Care Centre from the mrt. The 3 of us were assigned different booths. I was put in the booth selling army and navy bags,badges,caps and pins. They are mainly 2nd hand items but there are a couple of new ones. Jinyu was helping in the flowers booth. And qianthing was in the toy booth. We were not separated, in fact these 3 booths are actually joined together,so it seems that we are "helping" in the same area.
I can't say it was fun,but it was a good experience attending to customers. We spent our afternoon here from 1.40pm-5.15pm. In the midst of browsing through the badges because i was too bored and there were no customers, something caught my attention and i bought it without much hesitation.

It's an old IJ badge, i presumed it belongs to an ex-IJ girl who donated her badge to this charity flea market. It looks really antique, the colour tells it's age. It got me fascinated cause i hadn't seen an old IJ badge other than my school badge. It's unique, i guess. And it only cost $1!! Besides that, i also bought Japan and Finland pins. The both of them were only $1 too. Well,I didn't expect myself to buy items from the booth which i was helping at. Jinyu bought a Winnie the pooh soft toy for $2 and qianthing got cakes.

The old badge carries more weight but the metal is solid and hard,unlike the new badge which is made out of a lighter and cheaper metal-aluminium. Notice the 2 pins on the old badge, i think that's the coolest part.

Tomorrow, we will be filming our narrative video project. After zhihui told me about the obstacles they experienced, i was a little worried. I know it's gonna be tough under the hot sun;it will be tiring enduring the long hours of filming;it gets stressful if things don't go smoothly. Persevere and unite. That's what's more important. Jiayou!

昨天。
指导型呈现。
我觉得自己没有表现很好，但这次的呈现总算比上一次好很多。
我教大家怎么做曲奇饼—cookie，不知道这次的选择是不是错的。为了选一个可以指导大家的技能，我东想西想，甚至又想过要教地板钩球，但是这也太怪了吧？！我想大家学了也用不着。所以，我放弃这个念头。最后，我就决定要教大家怎么做曲奇饼。
整个呈现只限10分钟，而我却严重超时！1345，我没记错。搅拌材料时我就知道我会超时，所以嘴里不断重复：“由于时间的关系”。没想到，老师说这是突现缺点的禁语。因为紧张，又担心时间，我还说出好几个英文字。Baking tray,mixture,fluffy... 我那时候真的不知道怎么去翻译，嘴巴却不受控制说了英语。哎，这也是另外一个禁忌。
不过，我蛮开心听到大家称赞我做的曲奇饼。谢谢！！=) 我会努力做更好吃的曲奇饼。我想这是满足感吧，我真的很感动~

这次虽然得不到理想中的分数，有点小小的失望，但还是从大家的身上学到一些新的知识和技能，像秀敏的karate防身术,惠娟的手语，芝蕙的瑜伽etc。很可惜吃不了紟妤的咖喱角，还有自己做的曲奇饼。咳嗽还没好，每天晚上都会一直一直咳，好难受啊~ 已经一个星期多了。
今天。
总算完成conlan的功课，但是这过程却是赶，满不满意我不知道。
胸口一块大石头又放下了，还有三个巨石等待抛下...
累。

无能为力...

I have been coughing non-stop everywhere. It sucks to be sick, especially when it is a persistent cough that doesn't go away. Cough syrups and pipagao is not helpful at all. Anyone knows any remedies for cough please let me know, I'm like suffering in the midst of doing my assignments.
A whole lot of assignments just this week:
1. Pre-production filing by 1/12/08
2. Global issue essay by 2/12/08
3. 指导型呈现 on 4/12/08
4. Conlan Group Project by 5/12/08
5. Narrative video filming on 7,8 Dec
Next week, a lesser load,but it's still stressful!

It's 7 assignments in 2 weeks, an i only have 336 hours in total. BUT, after deducting my hours of sleep. So in actual fact, i will have 252 hours altogether(plus 8 hrs of sleep daily). Now, im overly stressed up because i am desperately sourcing for more time to complete all these assignments. I am afraid i have to miss np and lmfc floorball trainings this week. If i know teleportation skills or if i have a "secret twin", perhaps i can make my "twin" do my assignments while i go for trainings.
